Simply put, affiliate marketing is a kind of online business that you serve as
a middle man for big firms, online stores; individuals etc. and get a
commission for any of their products that was bought through your
recommendation.
Example:
You sell eBooks or software, I recommend your eBooks to my friends
and they bought it, then you pay me commission for every single sale I
brought to you. Simple. In the above example, you are referred to as a
merchant, I am an affiliate/publisher and my friends are customers/leads.

How Will They Know That The Sales Came Through Me?
This is the most common question asked by newbie affiliates. As soon as
you register to promote a product, you will be given a unique tracking
URL that tracks your activity, the URL is often called hop link or
affiliate URL. Anybody that made purchase through that URL will
reflect in your account as an affiliate and the merchant’s account.
Many old fashioned affiliate programs especially in Nigeria provides a
space for customers to enter usernames of who refer them, this is old
fashioned and can bring about loss of sales. We will not use such services
and they will not be covered in this guide.
How to Access Affiliate Products to Market
There are 2 ways through which you can access affiliate products for
marketing. It can be direct between you as an affiliate and a merchant.
Such affiliate programs do not require intervention of a third party. The
second requires a 3rd party like clickbank. The merchant showcase his

clickbank, you market it, make sales and clickbank pays you. In this guide
we will focus on the 2nd
option that has an intervention of a 3rd

places I will introduce to you in just a moment. What is an affiliate
market place? In simple term, an affiliate market place simply refers to a

Clickbank officially doesn't accept Nigerians on its portal but one thing I

this is a simple tool that is capable of changing your location from

these are not free vpn but are inexpensive and sometimes comes with
free trial.
Most fake marketers that do not know anything about affiliate
marketing but parading themselves as pros will tell you to register a u.s
clickbank account. They are their parading it on various blogs, eBooks
and websites. Please do not register a u.s clickbank account because
you will be faced with the tax id problem and this can affect your
withdrawal. Register only UK clickbank account.
How To Register A Uk
Clickbank Account
Of recent, clickbank is stricter in terms of registering a clickbank
account from black listed countries. Less secured vpns are no longer
able to do the job. After trying tens of vpns that include but not limited
to anonymox, connected over, anonymize, worldvpn etc. I noticed that

the best route to go is to use turbo vpn on an android phone. From all
the vpns and different accounts I tried to register on different
platforms, I recorded more success using this strategy. Below is the
step by step procedure of registering a clickbank account with turbo

search for an address within your zip code, mine above is EC2V. Search
for a particular business around the zip code. In the first place for the
search I entered barbers and the other place is for my zip code. You
can search for plumber, electrician, carpenter etc. see below image
Once you click on search below page will come up with addresses
within your zip code. Always choose an address that is not more than
few yards to 5 miles away.

In the above address you will notice that it is just within my zip code,
the street address is mason’s avenue, city is London and country is uk.
Home address is 22 mason’s avenue.
The next thing to do after getting the address is to head on to
google.co.uk and search for clickbank, this is because let it seem to
clickbank that you were referred by Google. Click the first search
provided which is www.clickbank.com . Below is what the home page
of the site looks like. Just click on the menu button and select “create
an account” as seen below.

Once you click on create an account, you will be provided with the
below form, fill it exactly the way I did using your own details as seen in
below image.
The address you will use is the address you will get from www.yell.com
. It is an address that Is very close to your zip code. The phone number
to use should be a modification of your Nigerian number.

E.g., if my Nigerian number is 08107672625, I will modify it to have +44
and be either 070 or 080 because that is how uk numbers are. So my
number will now be something like +447007672625. If you are not sure
of the city and state you can always search on Google. E.g.: which city is
basinghall street in uk?

The payee name is your name and country is united kingdom. Once
done, click I am not a robot and click next as seen in form 3 below.
The next step is creating a username and password. A username is seen
by customers during checkout so please get something nice and simple.
It must be between 5-10 characters. In this example mine is cool222 as
seen in form 4 below. Do not check the section that says link existing

anytime soon. There are literally HUNDREDS of sub-niches within this
industry that are waiting for you! They include:

HOW TO CHOOSE THE
BEST AFFILIATE
PRODUCT TO PROMOTE
Now that we have known the evergreen niches it is important to
choose the best products that will make us sales and earn us huge
commissions. There are thousands of products on the marketplace in
every niche you can think of. So with thousands of products to choose
from, how do you select a profitable Clickbank product to promote? I
also want you to look out for opportunities, some niches are not
among the listed evergreen but comes with season and time e.g. it
might be how to decorate a Christmas carol or how to start developing
xhtml5. It depends on what is new that people want to learn. Keep
your eyes on that.
Below are the exact ways I
do it:
1 – Gravity and Filters
Many first time affiliates just get lost in the Clickbank Marketplace due
to the sheer number of products available.
By default, search results are displayed by popularity. However
popularity doesn’t necessarily mean sales and conversions. So aside
looking at popularity, sort out products by gravity. This measures how
many unique affiliates have successfully sold the product within the last
12 weeks.

The higher the gravity the more affiliates making sales on the offers, and
the lower the gravity the fewer affiliates making sales promoting that
offer.
Offers with a gravity 20-70 are not too popular to the point where the
market is over saturated with their offer, but not too low to where
they are not selling at all. As a typical Naija guy, these are the exact
products I look out for.
2 – Look for Longevity
A high ticket item may give you a large commission payout straight up,
but if it’s a one-time sale, then that’s all you’ll be getting. Instead seek
out products that serve the customer on a long term basis. I’m talking
about rebills.
These are recurring commissions that will go to your account every
month for as long as that customer continues making payments.
Now this is true passive income.

You can make one sale, then months and even years down the line, you
can still be profiting from that initial sale without having to do anything.
3 – Checking Out the Backend
Everybody loves a good backend. But no one really understands the
value of a backend better than a smart affiliate.
Before you commit yourself to promoting a certain product, first go
through the vendor’s sales funnel.
You want to get the most out of a product. And by doing this you need
to know exactly what the sales funnel is. Check for upsells and pricing.
Look at the sales pages and value of the one-time offers.
Ask the vendor directly or check out the provided affiliate’s page. The
top vendors will let all their affiliates know exactly what the product is
about and whether or not there are any upsells. Upsell is a presentation
of another product or supplementary product to customers that just
purchased a product. As an affiliate you will also receive a commission if
he purchases the second product. And that brings me to my fourth tip.

4 – The Affiliates Tools Page
Any vendor worth their salt will provide an affiliates tools page. To
make your life easier, promote products where vendors offer such
support. As it is, there’s a ton of work that needs to be done in order
to set up your campaign and reach potential customers.
So take advantage of the affiliates tools pages by using the professionally
designed banner ads, keyword target lists, free reports to give away,
email swipes and more.
This will make your work flow more efficient and it’ll be so much easier
to do your pre-selling before sending your reader to the landing page.
5 – Contact the Vendor Directly
I’m not too keen on people who write reviews for products they
haven’t even seen, let alone used. By doing this you could lose the trust
and respect of your audience, especially if they eventually buy the
product through you and find that your claims were false.

That’s why I suggest contacting the vendor directly and request for a
review copy. Alternately you can buy the product and review it. Most
often what i do is to purchase the product using my affiliate link. This
gives me a tremendous discount.
Buying a product through my affiliate link simply implies that if a
product is $100 and the commission is $75. I will pay the full amount
and 75usd will come back to me as my commission.
Test out the product and see how the vendor handles customer
support. This will give you a clearer picture of whether or not you
really want to promote the product. Keep in mind that if you promote
a product that turns out not to be very good, it can end up hurting
your reputation and erode your relationship with your audience. Stay
away from sellers that do not respond to you within 24 to 48hrs.
If the support is ok and they do not have review copies for you and you
are too broke to pay for it, visit forums to ask people’s opinions about
the product.

campaigns. But time is not by their side as the efficiency of using those
sites is decreasing by the day. After a thorough review of those sites
lately, I embarked on a research to see better and more efficient
strategies for my affiliate marketing promotions. I have tried tens of
different strategies, spent hundreds of dollars in purchasing of courses,
and spent hundreds of hours implementing things that turned out not
worth it. Finally I have found gold. Today, I have filtered the wheat from
the chaff and I am handing over the wheat to you in the next few pages.

Locate A Top Selling Product On Clickbank
There are 2 methods of locating a top selling product on clickbank.
Either by visiting the clickbank market place and search products by
their gravity or you use a 3rd
party service. I will show you how to use
the 2 methods below.
Let us begin by searching for top selling clickbank products by gravity.

Once signed in to clickbank, click on the market place link as seen
below.
Once the page loads up, check by your left hand side and you will see
the list of different categories clickbank have. I will click on green
products as seen below. The list of categories is far more than what
you see below. I am trying to minimize space.

Once the page loads up, click on “sort results by” and click on gravity
in the dropdown button.
The results will be sort by gravity. As at the time of writing this report,
the product with the highest gravity in the section I choose is the
ezbattery reconditioning with a gravity of 164. See it below

Above is the first method of searching for clickbank’s top selling
product directly on clickbank. The second method we will be using has
to do with an external website.
How To search for
clickbank’s top selling
product using cbgraph.com
Cbgraph.com is a website that helps affiliate marketers with insights on
different clickbank products. Our interest here is to locate clickbank
products with the highest gravity. It is important to note that clickbank
gravity drops, a product having 200 gravity last 2 weeks might be having

a gravity of 100 today. Although the gravity at hundred is still high but it
is definitely not the best product to promote because it is reflecting
that more affiliates are having difficulty selling it in the last 2 weeks and
that is why the gravity is dropping.
Cbgraph helps us here to show clickbank products that are having
declining and increasing gravity. Those with high and increasing gravity
at this moment are what we need for this strategy,

The below page will open with different clickbank products with high
gravity and also indicate if the gravity is declining. See sample image

While the product at the top has a higher gravity of 210.23 it has a
negative gravity because just after the gravity is -3.43 but the product at
the bottom with a gravity of 163.68 has a positive gravity, which means
that, more affiliates are having success selling it.
The next thing to do is to click on the product link as seen above. The
below page will open with more details about the product

As you can see in both my first and second search I got the product
ezbattery reconditioning. I do not like clicking promote from external
links because I once had a very bad experience. I clicked promote from
a website and I got a clickbank hoplink but unknown to me was that,
the hoplink was for the dubious website. I actually realized it a bit late.
So what you should do is to visit clickbank.com and search for the
clickbank product you have identified. In my case I will just search for
“ezbattery” as seen below

The next step is to find the paid traffic sources that send traffic to this
product.
How To Identify The
Traffic Sources Of A
Particular Product
To do this I use the service of a website called www.similarweb.com .
this website provides lots of free information about different websites
for free.
I will start by getting the website link of the product i want to find the
traffic source of. In this case it is www.ezbatteryreconditioning.com I
will visit similarweb.com and insert the url in the search box as seen
below. The next thing once the page loads up is to click on referrals.
The below page will open with different sites that are referring traffic to
the above website. You can click to view the traffic sources individually
or you can copy the urls of the traffic sources and visit them.

The first site in the above image is askaprepper.com and the second site
is survivaldan101.com lets visit the site to see if we can find the ads of
this product on the website. After visiting the above 2 sites, I was
unable to find the ads most likely as a result of add rotation. If I check
some other time of the day or I continue to refresh the page I will see
the ads. But checking on the 3rd
site which is
www.survivalonline101.com I found the ads. It is a video ads that is
performing astonishingly well. See the screen shot of the ads below.

Wow, with discovering the site and the ads, we have completed the
first part. The second thing to do is to contact the traffic sources for
your ads placement on their website. Not all of them may want to
work with you so it is your duty to keep searching and contacting
different traffic sources till you get those that are willing to work with
you.
Never feel discouraged because few sites turn you down. I was sooooo
use to being turned down before they stopped turning me down. So, A
few no before a yes should not be an obstacle or barrier to you.

How To Contact The
Traffic Sources
At this stage, you have found the website you want to place your
affiliate ads on and the url of the website. Usually I advise that you go to
the contact us page of the website and write a short note to them
about your interest to advertise with them.
In the above site for example, let me send an email to them requesting
to place an ads with them.

Some important tips

wise sayings about the niche I am into and insert it into my psd file and
save as an image. I will share with you the files HERE so you can also

earlier and replace the txt in the above files with your new text.
You will need adobe photoshop to carry out this task or alternatively
you can make use of photopea found at https://www.photopea.com/ it
is just like a free online version of photoshop. You can watch a simple

Just like photoshop, your most important sections in photopea for this
task are:
1. File menu for selecting your psd file or image, it is found at the top
left hand side of either the photoshop or photopea page. The file menu

2. Drag icon For Moving a Layer to whatever location you want within
the page.
3. Text T icon. This allows us to edit text in a psd file after clicking on
the layer the text is.
4. Number 4 are the layers. This is the different components a psd file
contains. If for example I want to edit the John Maxwell in the below
file, I will just click on the layer that contains the word john Maxwell
which is the first layer then I will click on T icon before clicking on the
part of the image that contains the word john Maxwell. If it is a psd file
you will be able to edit the text in that part. See the image below.

for a working version just locate a business center or photo studio
close to you and request them to send you photoshop. In most cases
this should not cost more than N100- N500 (one to five hundred
Naira).

Another very interesting source of content for tweeting is the retweet
function. It provides your audience with interesting content, it makes
those that you retweet love you and it makes your account looks
always active.
Search for influencers or
popular accounts from your
chosen Niche and follow
their followers
The fun is just starting. When I just started implementing this strategy, I
searched online and found that the daily follow limit was around 2000.
Although, in during my research nobody told me that I can get banned
for following only a hundred people.
I started following users manually after following just about 50 users I
decided to create a script or search for a script that will help me do the
following. Few minutes into the following game, I was banned.
I advise that following and unfollowing should be manual. We will be
following about 200-300 people daily. The time schedule depends on
you. Personally I follow only 200 people daily, just about 50people after
every 2 hours or so. I strongly advise that you also follow same amount
of users daily.
For searching, following and unfollowing users on twitter, this is very
simple, all you have to do is to visit twitter.com and locate the search
box at the top right hand corner as seen in the below image.

As you can see, in the above search box I inserted the term
“webdesign”, this is what you should do according to the niche you
want to go into. If it is body building I can search something like “body
building or fitness”, or for freelancing I can search for “freelancing or I
can be specific to different freelancing services that can be rendered
like “webdesign” “writing” etc.
Once you have entered the appropriate keyword and click on search,
the next thing to do is locate the accounts with relatively high followers
and start following their followers.

In the above image I will click on the first option or any other option
and click his followers as seen below. Follow about 50 of his followers
every 2 hours. As much as you can, only follow people with images.
Most of the accounts that are not having profile pictures are bots
accounts.

After 3days of following, you can unfollow all those that are not
following you back. After 2 weeks of carrying out the follow and
unfollow process, you can start using tools for the following and
unfollowing. More on this later.
My Second Following Method
The first following method we saw above is the conventional method
that every dick and harry uses. It is not as efficient as this strategy that I
am about to show you. What I do in this strategy is that instead of
searching for webdesign, I will search for something like “I want to
learn web design” or instead of searching for freelancing I will search
for “how do I start freelancing” I believe you get the idea.
Using this strategy gives me very hungry follower base that are
interested in what I will be promoting to them because they are already
looking for it.

In the above example, instead of searching for loose weight which will
mostly give me marketer’s related account, the thing I do different is to
search for buyer/customer related keywords. The key is that you
should Always assume that you are the person that needs that thing,
product or a solution. And search just as if you are searching for it.
Once the page opens up you can follow 50 of the users at a time with 2
hours interval and not more than 200 users daily.
A very important tool that will give you abundant supply of buyer
related keywords is www.ubbersuggest.io visit the site and enter your
keyword in the space and click “suggest” as seen below.

The key words will show up as seen in the below image. You can use
them for your day to day following activity.
Let’s make a little math using this strategy. If my account is set up with
customized header, and my tweets are scheduled with the relevant
#tags related to my Niche, I get about 30% follow back ratio from my
hungry customers. Following 200 people daily for 30 days is 6000
people. 30% of 6000 that will follow back equals to 1800 people. Do
not forget that these are very hungry followers about what you are

promoting. Let’s say only 1% of those followers proceeded to get the
product you are promoting. That is 18 people and the commission per
sale is 15usd. 15 dollar x 18 people= 270 dollar. (270 x 360 = N97, 200).
What if using this strategy you promoted 3 different accounts and 3
products within the month? This will be N97, 200 multiply by 3= N291,
600. This is the potential that awaits you as a beginner that buries his
head into action instead of procrastinating and complaining about time.

I use a Google chrome extension called “Mass Follow For Twitter” the
best part of this extension is that it is completely free and very
effective. The downside is that you must have Google chrome browser
to make use of it.
Once you are ready to start using this great tool click HERE or copy

as seen in the below image

followers or another user’s list of followers then click on settings as
pointed above. The reason why you need to be on a list of followers
before clicking is that; settings, follow and unfollow buttons will not be
active until you are on a page with followers. Once you click on settings

you see me do in the below image. Make your follow settings just the

If you have any twitter profile that you do not want the extension to
unfollow, you can either follow it manually not with the extension and

into batches of 50 and give them about 2hours intervals.

Tips:
1. To be on the safer side, get a specific day for following and a
specific day for unfollowing. Let’s say I follow 200 users today, I
will not unfollow today but tomorrow and if I unfollow tomorrow
I will not follow.
2. Do not run more than 3 – 5 twitter accounts on your home ip. If
you want to run more number of accounts then you can use a
proxy.
3. If you intend to do more aggressive following and unfollowing
make sure you have a phone number and accessible email as
twitter might ask you from time to time to verify your email and

Insert Your Affiliate Links
In Your Tweet.
Posting affiliate links on twitter is fun and fast without setting up a
squeeze page of your own. But I will advise that you do not abuse the
platform. Only share your links about 3 times daily mixed within your
5-14 daily tweets. So it means that you will have about 5-10 scheduled
tweets daily and your affiliate links will be posted manually. They can
also be scheduled but I have a reason for saying that they should be
posted manually.
to post your affiliate link on twitter, first shorten the link using bit.ly
and post the shortened link. Using bit.ly is as easy as visiting bit.ly and

Be creative in your affiliate Tweets
See typical example of how you should tweet your affiliate link.
Most of the times the products you are promoting already have
different images that you can make use of on the affiliate tools
page.

say something like: let’s assume we are promoting a product on
freelancing, I can say something like
“join me to celebrate Mack James, he earned $5031 in the month of
