The Battle Of The Bet was the very first game made for Powerpoint that had moving characters and automatic animation. The original version did not have text to speech, but Michael Nazhi, its original creator, wanted to make it more accessible once he installed Windows XP on his, what was formerly a, Windows 3.1 computer. He then added text to speech using an audio recording application with Microsoft Sam that captured the speech and made it compatible with the game's supported file types. The only three colors in this game are black, white, and red, and the frame rate is slower than one frame per second, but overall, it's a great game for its time, because it started a revolution in PowerPoint gaming!
