Canada celebrates Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October each year. For the holiday, Canadians often visit family and have special meals that usually include roast turkey, seasonal produce like pumpkin and corn, and pecan nuts. While some traditions are similar to the United States like giving thanks, Canada's Thanksgiving differs in that it occurs on a different date in October and does not have Black Friday sales afterwards.
