This survey was conducted to determine why people text while driving and to inform a campaign to change attitudes about the dangerous behavior. The survey found that 71 out of 91 respondents considered texting while driving a serious offense. Most respondents agreed that smartphones are a main factor encouraging texting while driving. The analysis concluded that most people see texting while driving as unethical and dangerous, risking one's own life and the lives of others.

The analysis of the Survey shows that:
• Most of the people consider texting
while driving as a non ethical act.
• One should not practice it as he/she
may risk the life of his/her own and
others.
• The result of such act may be
insidious.
