Tetteh Noah is 21 years old. His
mother’s name is TettehGifty and his
late father’s name is
TettehAmewuda. He joined the Every
Child is Our Child program at age 14
when he was at class 6.
Tetteh Noah has since completed his
primary and junior high school
education at Okwenya and moved
on to King David College for his
senior high school education in
business.
This brilliant boy recognized the fact
that he could not accomplish this
success if you Unitarian Universalists
(UUs) did not offer your support.
He therefore invited your program
team in Ghana to partake in his
graduation ceremony, which was
held on the 25th of May 2013 at
King David College. I, the program
monitor Joseph KinghamOchill, was
there to support, knowing that you
UUs would have been more than
happy to join him to celebrate his
big day.
I believe Education is the most
powerful weapon, which can be used
to change the world. I also believe in
the principle that I can make a
difference in this world. It may be
ever so small but it will count for the
greater good.
I agree with Newton D. Barker that
the man who graduates today and
stops learning tomorrow is
uneducated the day after. I therefore
call on all UUs to please continue
supporting this important program
to move children like Noah to the
University level.
