Â
With the revolutionary SuperResolution technology from Testo, you improve the image quality of your testo thermal imager by one class in no time. Four times more measurement values and a geometric resolution improved by a factor of 1.6 mean for you even more details, even more security in your measurement and better analysis as well. For example 160 x 120 pixels are turned into 320 x 240 pixels at once with a simple firmware upgrade in your testo imager. This means simply better thermography on systems with - Testo SuperResolution upgrade.
This innovation from Testo uses the natural movement of your hand, and records several images, slightly offset to each other, very quickly one after the other. These are then calculated into one image using an algorithm. This allows you to take thermographic measurements easily, quickly and reliably at a great distance, for example using the large rotatable display and optional telephoto lens of the testo 876 â and to analyze the even more detailed SuperResolution thermal images precisely and conveniently on a PC.
The Testo SuperResolution technology makes it possible to depict more real temperature measurements without using a large detector, and thus to correctly measure smaller measuring objects. It provides four times more readings â comparable with a higher detector resolution.
Testo SuperResolution Technology in a nutshell:
âą Improves the image quality of your Testo thermal imagers by one class with a mere firmware upgrade
âą More correct & real temperature measurements without using a large detector
âą Four times as many readings in the thermal image - Geometric resolution (IFOVgeo) of the thermal image improved by a factor of 1.6
âą Measurable objects are 1.6 times smaller (IFOVmeas)
âą Far more details for PC-based analyses and thus qualitatively and quantitatively improved
evaluation options in the thermography report

1. The document discusses Testo SuperResolution technology, which improves the resolution of thermal images. It does this through a combination of super-sampling and deconvolution techniques without requiring a higher resolution detector.
2. SuperResolution provides thermal images with 4 times as many readings and 1.6 times better geometric resolution compared to standard thermal images. This allows for smaller and more distant objects to be measured.
3. The technology works by capturing a series of slightly offset images using natural hand tremors and then combining them using an algorithm to reconstruct the original signal at higher resolution, similar to using a higher resolution detector. Real temperature readings are calculated rather than interpolated.
Testo SuperResolution is a patent-pending technology that improves thermal image resolution using a combination of super-sampling and deconvolution. It provides images with 1.6x better geometric resolution and 4x more readings, allowing for detection of smaller objects. By taking multiple slightly offset images and using an algorithm accounting for lens properties, it calculates additional real temperature readings without requiring a higher resolution detector. This provides more detail for industrial and building thermography applications without needing to physically move closer to objects.

Dandelion Hashtable: beyond billion requests per second on a commodity serverAntonios Katsarakis
Â
This slide deck presents DLHT, a concurrent in-memory hashtable. Despite efforts to optimize hashtables, that go as far as sacrificing core functionality, state-of-the-art designs still incur multiple memory accesses per request and block request processing in three cases. First, most hashtables block while waiting for data to be retrieved from memory. Second, open-addressing designs, which represent the current state-of-the-art, either cannot free index slots on deletes or must block all requests to do so. Third, index resizes block every request until all objects are copied to the new index. Defying folklore wisdom, DLHT forgoes open-addressing and adopts a fully-featured and memory-aware closed-addressing design based on bounded cache-line-chaining. This design offers lock-free index operations and deletes that free slots instantly, (2) completes most requests with a single memory access, (3) utilizes software prefetching to hide memory latencies, and (4) employs a novel non-blocking and parallel resizing. In a commodity server and a memory-resident workload, DLHT surpasses 1.6B requests per second and provides 3.5x (12x) the throughput of the state-of-the-art closed-addressing (open-addressing) resizable hashtable on Gets (Deletes).

Analyze heat development over time
With the testo 890, thermal
processes can be recorded in real
time. Via the USB 2.0 interface, all
data from the thermographic
recording are directly transferred to
the PC, and can be stopped and
analyzed at any point. The settings
for the video are carried out using
the IRSoft from a PC. This makes
the testo 890 optimum for the
examination of heat development in
development processes.
For every instant, all temperature measurement points are
exactly available per pixel, so that all thermal developments
can be precisely analyzed over time. In addition to this, a log-
ger function allows the recording of several individual images
at deïŹned time intervals or after certain events, such as limit
value violations, for example.
