Terra Meares is a student at North Carolina State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Plant and Soil Science with a concentration in Crop Biotechnology and expected to graduate in May 2015. She has worked as a research assistant at the NC State Small Grains Lab where she assists with wheat breeding experiments and performs various lab techniques. Additionally, she interned at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences where she designed educational programs about pollinators.
