  • #2 It is also known as lateral epicondylitis . And due to strain in common extensor origin followed by inflammatory reaction
  • #3 It most coomonly involve tendon of extensor carpi radialis brevis
  • #4 Pain around lateral epicondyle and back of forearm with crtain activities . Tenderness just distal and anterior to lateral epicondyl
  • #5 Muls test to test function of extensor carpalis longus and brevis . First fix humurus by palpating lateral epicodyl then pronation of patient forearm is done then flextion of wrist joint and extension of elbow. Positive test will show pain on doing so
  • #6 Simple analgesia with naproxene 500 mg tablets are given Methylprednisolone injection in case resistant to analgesics. Extensor mass stretching exercise will be done
  • #7 Tenis elbow brace can also b use along with the medical treatment
  • #8 In resistant cases open arthroscopic repair will b done. Arthroscope is endoscope inserted in joint
