According to the California Office of Traffic Safety, there were 3,623 deaths resulting from traffic crashes in California roads in 2016. That number is 7% higher than in 2015. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration attributes most deaths to six ‘Risky Driving’ factors. Understanding these factors is the best defense against them.
The average American drives for the first time during their teenage years. Teenagers make up the second smallest group of drivers in the US. Ironically, drivers aged 16 have the highest crash rates compared to drivers in other age groups.
Getting behind the wheel after several shots of your favorite alcohol is a move you should never think of doing. For one, driving under the influence of alcohol is a crime. When the alcohol level in your blood reaches a level of at least 0.08 percent, you are no longer allowed to step inside any vehicle.
