Teddy Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States who lived from 1858 to 1919. He created the volunteer cavalry group known as the Rough Riders, established Yellowstone as the first national park, and was an avid big game hunter and true cowboy. His famous quote was "Speak softly and carry a big stick."
