Creating my map of ideal classroomwebsites was very informalinto how I
wish to run my classroomas well as an insightinto my future preferences. I have
chosen a lot of hands on websites wherestudents are interacting with
communication, literacy and numeracy throughoutthe webpage. I believe it is
important to incorporatetechnology throughoutschooland using it when it can
be enriching to the prior lesson. By incorporating technology into the classroom, I
will be enriching student learning, communication, as well as engagement
throughout. I hope to sharemy ideas with future colleagues and in return gain
further knowledgeinto other amazing websites devoted to classroomuse.
In order to attain these goals for incorporating ICTinto my classroom, I will
need access to computers, iPads and a Smart board. Another goal of mine is to
startblogging with my students. Kathy Cassidy talks about her blog with her
students and how accomplished the class is with it. They are able to sharewith
the community, as well as classrooms fromother countries. I wantthis for my
students because it will enrich their learning and communication skills. The posts
will be student led, but teacher verified. In order to complete this goal, I will have
to research kid-friendly blog sites and develop guidelines and starting ideas for my
students to build their own ideas on top of. I am excited to start this new journey
with my futureclassroomand incorporateas much ICTas I can!
