This document outlines the duties and responsibilities of a position related to plant maintenance and safety. Key responsibilities include implementing safety policies and procedures, attending meetings, performing equipment isolations, carrying out preventive maintenance schedules, calibrating and repairing instrumentation and control equipment, ensuring documentation of work, assisting plant operators, and providing feedback to supervisors.

1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SAFETY
 Implementing SHER Policies, Procedures and Guidelines
 Attending Green area and Plant meetings
 Reporting Significant Incidents through Near-miss system
 Perform Isolation and issue lockout documents
2. PLANT MAINTENANCE
 Carrying out Plant Preventive Maintenance schedules and plant inspections
 Adherence to Planned Work and reduction of Unplanned maintenance
 Calibration,repair,maintain and installinglowand high level Instrumentation and Control
equipment within set standards
 Ensuringproper documentation of changes/notificationsand generating detailed reports on work
done
 Calibration, installation, commissioning and maintenance of field, control room and laboratory
instrumentation.
 Using SAP ERP to create job Notifications and Work Orders
 Completion of Work done through comprehensive defect feedback reports and work order
confirmations on SAP.
 Performing Standby duties and work extra hours (overtime) when required
 Assisting plant operators in the smooth running of the plant
 Ensuring availability of critical spares for all process control equipment
 Executing work autonomously in designated plantareas and optimizing plantefficiency and
availability
 Ensuring continuous improvements around instrumentation in assigned plantareas
 Providing feedback to the Maintenance Supervisor on any tasks to be performed
 Liaised with Production departments on all instrumentation related problems
