Stacy Cary
INTRODUCTION
 A Texas-based professional, Stacy Stine Cary is an angel investor
for multiple industries and a mentor with Tech Wildcatters. At Tech
Wildcatters, she and the TW Family work to provide new startups
with resources and funds to help them succeed. Over the years,
Stacy Cary and the rest of Tech Wildcatters have seen over 100
companies go through the organization’s programs.
One of the newest programs started at Tech Wildcatters is the
EMERGE program, a startup accelerator that was created in
partnership with the Center for Innovative Technology and the
Department of Homeland Security. Focusing specifically on
startups creating consumer-wearable technology products
designed for first responder applications, the program was
divided into two demo days.
TECH WILDCATTERS
 These demo days took place in Dallas, Texas and San
Francisco, California and provided the startups with
mentor and resource support. EMERGE’s first class of
startups also completed a 12-week, mentor-driven
program.
The program was introduced in 2015; since then, four
startups have completed it: CyberTimez, Mindtalk
Technology, LanguageMAPS, and Orbii. These
companies create a variety of unique products, including
a mobile app that improves first responder
communications when working with a foreign language
speaker as well as a HD camera that can record and be
operated remotely.
