John Sanders became interested in teaching after taking an AP Physics class in high school where his teacher, Dr. Logusch, made science engaging and showed its real-world applications. As an instructor himself, Sanders uses project-based learning, like having students study air resistance in different sports. He also presents concepts rigorously from first principles to foster critical thinking, which students responded positively to in evaluations. Sanders' goal is to inspire students' love of science and mathematics as Dr. Logusch did for him.
