DEPTH STUDY GERMANY: HOW DID GERMANY EMERGED FROM DEFEAT AT THE END OF THE FI...George Dumitrache
Germany transitioned to a democratic republic known as the Weimar Republic after World War 1. The Weimar Republic lasted from 1918 to 1933, beginning after Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated and ending when Hitler rose to power. During this time, Germany experienced political instability, with the republic threatened by communist uprisings like the Spartacist Uprising in Berlin in 1919. The Weimar Constitution established democratic principles like proportional representation but also controversial measures like Article 48 that granted emergency powers.

Berlin is Germany's largest city located on the banks of the Spree and Havel Rivers. It has a population of 3.4 million people and was harshly damaged during World War Two. Some of Berlin's most important landmarks include the Brandenburg Gate, which represents the reunification of Berlin, and the TV Tower, which was the tallest building in Germany when constructed. The Berlin Wall was built during the Cold War to separate East and West Berlin and was torn down between 1961-1989. Checkpoint Charlie was one of three checkpoints used to access Berlin during the Cold War. The Reichstag building has historically been the seat of German parliament.
Nazi germany - power of the terror apparatusmrmarr
The Nazis established totalitarian control over Germany through both coercion and popular support. They passed laws like the Reichstag Fire Decree and Enabling Act to consolidate power, banned opposing political parties, and used the SS and Gestapo secret police to crush dissent through intimidation, violence and mass arrests. However, the Nazis also cultivated support by improving the economy, appealing to German nationalism, and controlling information. While some Germans opposed the Nazis or passively resisted out of fear, many actively supported Nazi policies and actions. Historians disagree on whether popular consent or fear of state repression was the primary source of Nazi domination in Germany.

4. Charakterystyka
Duże różnice wzniesieo, piętrowośd klimatu i niezwykły skład gatunkowy fauny i flory sprawiają,
że Tatry mają charakter wysokogórski. Powierzchnia Tatr wynosi ok. 785 km², z czego 175 km²
przypada na Tatry Polskie, reszta to Tatry Słowackie. Rzeki zaczynające swój bieg w Tatrach
Polskich należą do zlewiska Bałtyku

6. Kozica górska
Dojrzałośd płciową zwierzęta te osiągają w wieku około 20 miesięcy, ale
rozmnażają się dopiero po osiągnięciu 3–4 lat. Żyją 18–25 lat. Młode rodzą się
najczęściej wiosną (od kooca kwietnia do połowy czerwca), kozice rodzą
najczęściej jedno rzadko dwa młode. Zarówno samce jak i samice posiadają
rogi zwane zwyczajowo hakami.
7. Ryś
Ryś to jeden z największych, a zarazem
do krajobrazu Polskiego lasu. Sadzę że to
wystarczający powód by chodź trochę
poznad to tajemnicze zwierze.
8. Świstak tatrzaoski
Świstak tatrzaoski należy do grona największych europejskich
gryzoni. Wielkością zbliżony jest do kota domowego. Tułów
świstaka jest masywny. Jego długośd (wraz z głową) wynosi od 45
cm do 65 cm (inne źródła podają 40–50 cm). Na wiosnę masa ciała
dorosłego samca wynosi od 2,7 do 3,4 kg, zaś samicy od 2,5 do 3,0
kg. W sezonie od wiosny do jesieni świstaki zaczynają jednak
odżywiad się kaloryczniej, przyjmują więcej węglowodanów
pochodzących z nasion traw, a tkanka tłuszczowa brunatna znacznie
się rozbudowuje, tworząc rezerwę energetyczną na czas kolejnej
hibernacji. Masa ciała świstaka zaczyna się więc w tym okresie
wyraźnie zwiększad i do jesieni potrafi wzrosnąd do ponad 6 kg, z
czego ponad 2 kg przypada na tkankę tłuszczową. Puszysty ogon ma
długośd zbliżoną do długości tułowia – od 13 do 17 cm.
9. Roślinnośd
Z endemitów roślinnych warto wymienid:
goryczkę wiosenną, wierzbę żyłkowaną i
dębika ośmiopłatkowego.
