TASK 2: Unit 10
A plan to attend an event/festival

OBJECTIVE
ORGANIZATION
A paragraph should have:
• A topic sentence
• Supporting ideas
• Concluding sentence
To use future forms (be going go, would like to) and modal
verbs (will, might) to make a plan for attending a festival.
REMEMBER
• This task should be done individually
• You need to use all grammar points and vocabulary
used in the week (plans, phrases with get, adjectives
and places to describe the weather)
• Cheating in any way will be penalized by not receiving
the task.

1) Investigate about a worldwide known event/festival you want
to attend (place, dates, celebrities you can see/hear there, what
you can do there, weather…).
2) Imagine you are attending the event/festival and make a
plan.
3) Elaborate a timetable with the activities that you want to do
each day.
4) Write some ideas about:
- what you would like to do (desires)
- what you are going to do (plans & intentions)
- what you will do (predictions)
5) Structure a paragraph with your sentences.
Include a topic sentence, supporting ideas and a concluding
sentence.

  • 1. Writing about plans for the future TASK 2: Unit 10 A plan to attend an event/festival CUS-BUAP Writing
  • 2. OBJECTIVE ORGANIZATION A paragraph should have: • A topic sentence • Supporting ideas • Concluding sentence To use future forms (be going go, would like to) and modal verbs (will, might) to make a plan for attending a festival. REMEMBER • This task should be done individually • You need to use all grammar points and vocabulary used in the week (plans, phrases with get, adjectives and places to describe the weather) • Cheating in any way will be penalized by not receiving the task. # OF WORDS & FORMAT From 80 to 100 words / Handwritten CUS-BUAP
  • 3. 1) Investigate about a worldwide known event/festival you want to attend (place, dates, celebrities you can see/hear there, what you can do there, weather…). 2) Imagine you are attending the event/festival and make a plan. 3) Elaborate a timetable with the activities that you want to do each day. 4) Write some ideas about: - what you would like to do (desires) - what you are going to do (plans & intentions) - what you will do (predictions) 5) Structure a paragraph with your sentences.
