This document discusses three types of peripheral devices: input peripherals, output peripherals, and input/output peripherals. Input peripherals allow data and instructions to enter a computer system, such as keyboards, mice, and scanners. Output peripherals allow the computer to display or communicate data, like monitors, printers, and speakers. Input/output peripherals can both send and receive information to and from the computer, including modems and storage devices.
