2. Many Graphic Designers use different software to create different
‘typographic’ effects. Tagxedo is a really useful website that can be
used for creating typography word clouds and digital calligrams.
3. Open up Taxedo on INTERNET EXPLORER! Then go to ‘LOAD’ and load in your
word.
If you select ‘Theme’, you can select different colour options.
You can choose your own ‘shape’ from the area, or you can upload your own
‘simple’ image from the Internet.
You can play around with the type, particularly if you keep ‘re respinning’ the re-
spin arrow key.
4. • Task: Experiment with Tagxedo, and
create a digital Calligram that can be
mounted onto presentation card.
There are two elements to this brief:
1. Final Digital Calligram Piece.
2. Screenshots to be mounted on a separate
board, showing the processes and steps
that you have taken to produce your
finished digital design. You may choose to
have a smaller version of your final design
on here as well.
5. Week1: 12th – 16th October
Experiment with Tagxedo and produce screenshots and possible first
design.
Week 2: 19th – 23rd October
Finalise designs, printing of work, and mounting onto boards.
DEADLINE: Friday 23rd October
