The T-shirt originated as an undershirt but became worn as the sole top garment over time. In the early 20th century, it grew popular in the US. Now in the 21st century, the T-shirt is known and worn globally. T-shirts were easily fitted, washed, and inexpensive, making them appealing for boys and convenient for mothers.

1. History of the T-shirt
T-shirts were originally worn as under tops, but as time went on the T-shirt got worn more frequently as the only piece
of clothing on the top half of the body.
In the early twentieth century, the t-shirt became very popular in America. Now in the twenty first century the t-shirt
is known and warn worldwide.
The T-shirt was easily fitted, easily cleaned, and inexpensive, and for this reason, it became the shirt of choice for
young boys (perhaps more the choice of their mothers than of the boys themselves)

I chose this t-shirt because it’s the kind of t-shirt i would wear and rage
against the machine are one of my favorite bands
I like how the american flag has been placed upside down. I think the t-shirt is a

3. Print on demand
Print on demand (POD), sometimes called publish on demand, is a
printing technology and business process in which new copies of a book (or
other document) are not printed until an order has been received.
"Print on Demand" was developed
after digital printing.

Primark, they sell T-shirts as low as £1,
almost the entire stock is sourced from
Asia.

5. Stencils and Silk Screens
Screen printing, sometimes called silk
screening was a good technique to design
t-shirts, it’s often done by the machines
but sometimes it can be done by hand,
which is what i did.

6. Children in Need.
Children in need is a well known charity that is
funded by the BBC they ask for any donations to
go towards children who are in need.
The famous bear is called pudsy, this represents
the charity. Children in need takes place on
Friday the 20th of November.
