Marilyn Szabo has over 20 years of experience as a commercial and fine art photographer. She became interested in photography at age 10 and has continued her education through courses in various subjects. Szabo photographs people, objects, architecture, and landscapes with a focus on light, shadow, form, and texture. Her works present a personal connection between the subject and object. She calls attention to gaps between representation and perception of space, which she refers to as "liminal," representing the level of consciousness between subliminal thinking and critical concentration.
