We love to see perfection and we all love to be seen flawless! In high definition era,
everyone has a chance to be exposed clearly under digital devices, to support this latest
market trends, BASF Care Chemicals Thailand Symposium let the customers visualize our
innovative solutions.

BASF Care Chemicals Thailand organized the symposium under the theme of “Visual
Sensory: High Definition”, at Grande Centre Point Sukhumvit -- Terminal 21 Hotel on March
28-29th, 2012, to introduce the latest solutions of personal care and home care to customers.
Nearly 80 participants from marketing & technical units joined the two-day event. They were
all exposed to our up-to-date personal care & home care new marketing concepts. In
addition, through the prototype demonstration, customers also had sensorial experiences to
touch and feel our real products.
“Senses is always the most important element in the consumer purchase process, as such
we have been focusing on sensory marketing to maximize our business development.
Integrated with high definition concept, BASF comes up with a wide range of ingredients for
personal care and home care, in which to make skin look flawless with natural glow, and to
get visible cleaning results at home”, said Mr. CP Chan, Vice President Business
Management & Operation, Care Chemicals ASEAN and South Asia, in the opening speech.
“At BASF, we also aim at creating chemistry with our customers in a simple manner through
FIVE senses. Starting to ‘see’ customer’s needs, ‘hear’ the sound of collaboration, ‘smell’
the advancement along the way, ‘taste’ the challenge in the market and finally ‘feel’ success
together with our customers.” added by Mr. CP Chan.
Sight appeal enjoyment through 3D experience
In the beginning of the event, BASF showed a 3D movie and TV commercials to the
customers, they were all given a 3D glasses to experience the sight stimulus in order to
awake their senses. Then it was followed by a presentation from our regional industry
marketing and technical experts, featuring the topics of “Whiter than White- holistic solution
for whitener (home care segment), “High Definition Hair Care”, “Invisible Aging for Daily Sun
Care Concept” and “Refreshing yet Moisturized Concept(personal care segment)”.
Most customers enjoyed the whole event and showed interested to our products and
formulations. “BASF did a good show in presenting their knowledge! If it’s possible, I would
love to get all documents and present them one more time to our colleagues” said Ms.
Soawaluck Chongjindakit, Product Manager of Oriental Princess, a customer of BASF Care
Chemicals in Thailand.
Note: Symposium is an annual event organized by BASF Care Chemicals, it aims at
showcasing latest innovation and new marketing concepts and strengthening relationship
with current and potential customers.
