The Club – web series, 2010–present
Creator/Writer/Director
A six-episode comedy web series about waitresses working at an exclusive country club. Handled all
facets of pre-production including conceiving series idea, scriptwriting, casting, hiring crew, scouting and
procuring country club location, wardrobe, and funds. Directed all six episodes and worked closely with
editor on post-production. Cultivated strong web presence by developing the series’ web page
(www.theclubseries.com) along with pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Blip. Series was a finalist in the
2012 Chicago Comedy TV Pilot Competition.

Learned in scene study how to examine characters and scenes on a more intimate level by exploring the
emotional connections between characters through repeated scene performances. Fundamentals classes
focused on the basics of staging, character analysis, table readings, physical movement, and
improvisation.
