 UG Project Title: Production of alcohol from sweet potato and applications of Chemical
Engineering
Description: Alcohol is used as a bio fuel, in pharmaceuticals and for making potable as
well as for making organic chemicals. The main objective of the project is to study the
effect of temperature on the production of alcohol, and ASPEN Plus software is used to
simulate distillation column.
 Summer Internship Project Title: Aspects of drilling fluids in drilling of a well and brief
about refining process (In ONGC, Rajahmundry)
Description: The main objective is to study the preparation of a drilling fluid which is eco-
friendly. I have studied different kinds of drilling fluids which are used in the field of oil
extraction and their effects on environment. I had a good technical exposure in the field
of petroleum refining during internship.
