SolarCity’s Solar Ambassador program allows our
customers and nonprofit solar supporters to be a part of
the solar movement.
The Solar Ambassador program has three key
components to support participating Non-profit
organizations and their members:
National Programming and Tools- Solar Ambassadors
will be part of a national campaign that inspires them to
connect with their networks about solar power.
Energy Consultants – SolarCity has thousands of
trained Energy Consultants that work directly with
customers and community members to spread the word
on the benefits of solar power.
Referral Rewards Program – The Solar Ambassador
program has referral rewards for direct referrals that arise
from the campaign

opportunities for their employees to become
residential SolarCity customers. Instead of the
company keeping the referral rewards, they can
donate them to a local charity.

community events in their local area. At these events,
SolarCity can co-brand their booths with the non-profit
logo and make a referral reward to the non-profit for
every customer that installs a system.
