Editor's Notes

  1. Intro – My name is Kable Nunnally, I am the recruiter for Summit Medical Group and I want to thank you for providing me this opportunity to speak with you today. Summit is constantly looking for talented providers/professionals to add to our ever growing team, especially in the areas of Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants (whichever is more appropriate). Summit refers to NP or PA’s as Mid-Level Provider’s. The growth SMG has experienced recently and the projected growth we foresee can and will be attributed to the contributions made by our MLP’s. I am here to provide an overview of Summit Medical Group and why we should be your employer of choice.
  2. Summit was formed about 18 years ago by practicing Physicians, whose common ideals and desire to improve the quality of patient care led to their partnership. We have grown exponentially as you will see in some later slides.
  3. Our patient focused business model continues to let us set the standard in quality care for the E TN region.
  4. Our dedication to improving the healthcare landscape in our area also means we support our community and the people in those communities.
  5. Summit Medical Group supports numerous organizations in our areas of operation. I have highlighted some of these organizations and the events we sponsor annually.
  6. SMG by the numbers…
  7. These numbers give you an idea of the volume of services that SMG provides. We utilize ourCOLA certified central lab on Wellington to process most tests. We are 100% EMR at our sitesThe patient volume will continue to increase, soon passing the 1 million mark, which is why we want to attract professionals like you to join our teamCurrently we are at about 1xxx employees, 220 Physicians of which 150 are recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance for their excellence in care areas including diabetes, heart/strokeRecently Twenty-seven Summit Medical Group physicians received recognition for achieving the highest standards for clinical quality delivery and patient satisfactionAll physicians in the Outpatient Clinical Performance category received perfect scores of 100 percent on their Diabetes Recognition Program score (DRP), a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) ProgramSummit’s DRP is ranked sixth in the nation with 146 physicians participating in the program.
  8. All of these numbers that make up Summit Medical Group can be summed up by another, the number 1 – in our eyes, what makes us successful is our commitment to Quality
  9. We are one of the largest and most recognized Physician owned practices in the NationOur other facilities include: Summit Express ClinicsAncillary ServicesSleep CenterPhysical Therapy And we have a contract with the City of Knoxville to provide workplace wellness services to all of their employees
  10. A word cloud I created when I input our website. As you can see some of the more prominent words: NP, PA, Career, Community, Family, Growth, and Salary
  11. One of the great things about choosing Summit Medical Group as your employer is that you have options in regards to your work environment….essentially you make a lifestyle choiceWe have NP/PAs who work in our partner hospitals: Fort Sanders Fort Sanders Select  Physicians Regional (Tennova)Physicians Regional Select (Tennova) ParkwestSo you can pick your desired shift and work locationWe also operate PC facilities in 11 counties and we expect to expand Another benefit of choosing SMG as your employer is that our business model works and it is successful, so you will be stepping into a secure and stable working atmosphere; you have our legal and compliance departments to back you and you have Administrative support in the form of an onsite Site Manager at each location and the Human Resources team at our Central office.
  12. As with most employers we provide healthcare benefits One thing I want to highlight is the employer contribution to the retirement plan, it has been holding constant at 5.7% on top of the 50% match.
  13. Now the real reason we are all here!Money!!There are a ton of sites you can use to gather salary information and they are all generally the same, whether you go to BLS, Salary.com, etc.Based on our market analysis we feel our MLP salaries are very competitive in our region and range from the median salary shown up to the 90 percentile. These positions can be exempt (salary) or non-exempt (hourly) depending on the work setting; typically our Hospitalist and SEC PRN persons tend to be hourly and our PC MLP’s are salary
  14. This is a recruiting video we use for Physicians. Since you will be working side-by-side with them I thought it would be good to give you a look at some.
