This document discusses the development of a new model for successful multimedia learning for vocational schools in Central Java, Indonesia. It involved focus group discussions with multimedia teachers to identify best practices.
The planning phase of the new model includes learning strategies, principles of multimedia usage, resources, teacher understanding and readiness, and equipment readiness. The implementation phase focuses on computer use, audiovisual materials, media selection, software/interactivity, and technology choice. Evaluation assesses student learning outcomes and the model's success.
The goal is to provide guidance for teachers on effective multimedia integration to optimize the learning process. Qualitative analysis identified components of a successful model, including adaptation over time to increase learning effectiveness.
