Entry requirements • qualification,skills and qualities needed for admission vary from university to university • the minimum entry requirements are as follows: • application form (online) • copy of secondary school graduation certificate • admission fee • specific requirements, e.g. CV, motivation letter, portfolio, English proficiency test, scheduled Skype interview

Recognition of foreignqualification • graduates of degree programmes at foreign universities submit a written application which is examined • by a public higher education institution providing similar degree programme or • by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (if an agreement on recognition between the Czech Republic and the state where certificate was issued exists = Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia) • details at www.studyin.cz/recognition

Scholarship awards underbilateral international agreements • offered by the Czech Ministry of Education within the framework of intergovernmental exchange programmes • arranged with a number of countries • for university students, graduates and PhD candidates who wish to undertake study or research visits to one of the Czech public universities • from 2 to 10 months • only to candidates officially recommended by the appropriate authorities in the eligible countries, which collect the applications, set the closing date for applications and organize the selection procedure

Erasmus+ scholarships • Erasmus+:the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport • funding opportunities to students from all over the world • students can go on a study abroad period • if there is an inter-institutional agreement between the universities • students can also receive a full degree scholarship for studying special Master´s study programmes in Europe (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees): • excellent study programmes run by international consortia of universities • Czech universities are involved in several Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (see www.studyin.cz/programmes) • scholarship application deadlines usually by the end of January
