The semester 2 students of NIMCJ performed a street play called "Jeetvu hoi to ladvu pade" at Vastrapur Lake. The street play was put on by the semester 2 students of NIMCJ to educate the public. The performance took place at Vastrapur Lake.
Polina Yevstigneyeva and Daniil Zamkovoy from Riga Ostwald Secondary School documented their vacation spent on Usma Lake in Latvia in August 2013. The lake is the second largest in Latvia and features several islands, including the largest island in the country, Viskužu Island. During their time on the lake, the students observed and photographed the local plant life like yellow water lilies and bulrush, as well as animals including a freshwater mussel species and zebra mussels. They also enjoyed activities such as boating, swimming, and relaxing on the shores of the lake at sunset and night.

Students observed makeup and production on the set of the TV series "Veer Shivaji" and learned about post-production processes at Prime Focus studio. The tour also included visits to landmarks like the Taj Hotel and Gateway of India.

The National Institute of Mass Communication & Journalism's youth club organized a blood donation camp on March 23, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the 4th floor of the institute located at Shapath 1, opposite Rajpath club on S.G. Road in Ahmedabad. All were cordially invited to attend.
NIMCJ will be celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi on March 18th. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in traditional Holi activities in the courtyard from 2-4pm, including throwing colored powders and playing with water balloons and squirt guns. Refreshments including thandai, gujiya, and other Indian snacks will be provided.
Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi returns to television after 20 years with 'Upanishad Ganga', a new series on Doordarshan that introduces viewers to Indian philosophy through stories based on the Upanishads. Conceptualized by Swami Tejomayananda of Chinmaya Mission, the series took 4 years to develop and features actors like Abhimanyu Singh portraying heroes from Indian history to engage viewers with profound knowledge in an entertaining way. 'Upanishad Ganga' aims to make ancient Indian thought accessible to mass audiences through the visual medium of television.
Mr. Kamlesh Prajapati directed a theatre and drama workshop for students at Aek Rang training, where students practiced theatre exercises and performed street plays on topics like fighting corruption and eve teasing in Prahaladnagar Garden. The students were also awarded certificates of participation for completing the workshop.
