Storyboards are a graphic organizer used in film and video production to illustrate shot-by-shot sequences for a film or video. They are usually a series of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture, animation, or interactive media project. Storyboards specific shot sizes, camera angles, transitions, and other information so that the relationship between the visuals and audio can be well understood before filming.
