As a manager of single and double wall mills, coating lines, and
fabrication of steel tubing in the manufacturing facility I was
responsible for staff management, establishing departmental
policies, goals and objectives. I also enforced safety,
environmental and health regulations. Review of financial
statements, sales, activity reports and other performance data
were used to measure productivity, goal achievement and to
determine areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
I was also involved in lean events for continuous improvements
on the mills and tubing assembly.
