1. Yesterday once again we went to the soup kitchen, going arround town and feeding the
homeless, i think they are starting toget used to us now because they talk to us they thank us
and everything.
Just after we were about to go to another place:
1. We came accross people from congo and other countries
2. It was 8 families and they are living outside on the streets
3. They were living there for three months
4. Kids go to school and come back there to sleep
5. They are going through a lot but they praise God, they give God glory in the street when
people are stealling from them they praise God, when kids go to school, they sit there by
UN and try to get job or shelter and find nothing they praise God...God is good they say, i
asked myself what is the church doing and i had no answer.
We all go through situations, we go through pain suffering, death. Situations are so
inevitable to an extend that we find ourselves cornored by situations almost all the time. We
try to come out and sometimes we call our friends to help us.
Sometimes we wait for God to respond and we feel like his taking too long, Which is what
i want to talk about, Gods response to your questions.

2. THEME: STAND ON THE ROCK AND SEE THE GLORY OF THE
LORD
SCRIPTURE: Exodus 33:12-23
12 Moses said to the LORD, "You have been
telling me, 'Lead these people,' but you have
not let me know whom you will send with
me. You have said, 'I know you by name and
you have found favor with me.' 13 If you are
pleased with me, teach me your ways so I
may know you and continue to find favor
with you. Remember that this nation is your
people."
14 The LORD replied, "My Presence will go
with you, and I will give you rest."
15 Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence
does not go with us, do not send us up from
here. 16 How will anyone know that you are
pleased with me and with your people unless
you go with us? What else will distinguish
me and your people from all the other people
on the face of the earth?"
17 And the LORD said to Moses, "I will do the
very thing you have asked, because I am
pleased with you and I know you by name."
18 Then Moses said, "Now show me your
glory."
19 And the LORD said, "I will cause all my
goodness to pass in front of you, and I will
proclaim my name, the LORD, in your
presence. I will have mercy on whom I will
have mercy, and I will have compassion on
whom I will have compassion. 20 But," he
said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may

21 Then the LORD said, "There is a place near
me where you may stand on a rock. 22 When
my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in
the rock and cover you with my hand until I
have passed by. 23 Then I will remove my
hand and you will see my back; but my face
must not be seen."
LEAD SENTENCE: Situations are tough, people live on streets,
people have no food on the table, car
accidents, buses on fire, hiv/aids and cancer,
people are passing leaving kids with no adult
supervision. Husbands and wives not taking
resposibility, war arround the world,
christians dying, many plane crashes there
world is full of situations, and people are
drownign to death with them.And we are
asking God, where too from here, how will i
get him out drugs, lead me lord, teach me
your ways God, show me you glory.
PROPOSITION: We are in need of the presence of God in
ourlives to bring symetry in everything, i
want to challenge you today to stand on the
rock and see the glory of Lord.
TRNSIT SENTE: Sometimes we focus on the noise the devil
makes, and the questions that we have but
God says to you stand on the rock see my
glory lets look at the book of exodus...

4. Hisoricity
The book of exodus is book packed with marricullous signs from
God.
Even though moses is the man who is busy perfoming all
these miracles, God was the main protagonist, he was the
influence, he was the force, he was the power that he used to
influence marriculous signs that Moses performed.

MOSES HIMSELF KNEW THAT HE WAS CHOSEN, THE
POWER WAS NOT HIS BUT THE GOD WHOES IN
HEAVEM.
It was never about moses, it was about the one who
Was, who Is, and who is still to come. It was never about
The missicles, it was about the one who was, who is and
who is still to come.

IT ALL REVIOLVE RROUND THE SOTEOROLOGICAL
PLAN OF GOD.
The book of departure (exodus), the book of
rescue and redemption (exodus), the book of
salvation (exodus) is not about man being in power and stoning
each other but about the salvation plan of God.

SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED TO FIND YOURSELF IN THE
PLAN OF GOD BECAUSE IN IT YOU FIND
YOUR SOTORIA (SALVATION).
THE BOOK OF EXODUS IS A BOOK THAT IS MEANT TO
REMIND US WHAT GOD CAN DO, AND HOW GREAT IS
OUR GOD.
THE BOOK OF EXODUS WAS MEANT TO ENCOURAGE US
TO RISE AS JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND
PROCLAIM THAT I AM THE HEAD NOT THE TAIL.
THE BOOK OF EXODUS WAS MEANT TO REMIND US
THAT WE ARE OF THE HEAVNLY PRINCIPLES WE DO NOT
WALK BY SIGHT BUT WALK IN FAITH THAT IS FULL OF
LOVE.
THE BOOK OF EXODUS REMINDS US THAT WE ARE
WALKING ACCORDING TO THE HEAVENLY SYSTEM NOT
THE EARTHLY SYSTEM.

EVEN THOUGH THE BOOK OF EXODUS WAS
WRITTEN BY MOSES IN THERE WE FIND AN
ASSURENCE, THAT THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL
ALWAYS PREVALE.

6. Today i want to show what God says to you:-
1. My Presence will go with you and i will give you rest (v14)
a)Psalms 16:11 - in your presence there is fullness of Joy: at
your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
i. God wants you to experience the fullness of Joy which i
found in his presence.
ii. God wants you to experience the pleasure that are found
in presence.
b) God presence is valuable because in it there is no need.
c) The devil might have tried to take away the your joy but God
wants to restore.
d) The devil might have tried to instill pain and fear in you but
God wants to give you the pleasure of his presence.
NB
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU PRAYED FOR A CHILD, A
BROTHER, A SISTER THAT SMOKES NYAOPE AND
NOTHING CHANGED?
GOD SAYS MY PRESENCE WILL GO WITH YOU.
e) Do not focus on the earthly situations because they are just a
testemony waiting to be told.
