reduce clutter, and incorporate design elements
of rhythm, symmetry and balance
Paint cupboards white
Change hardware on cupboards

Remove wallpaper and paint
Lighten up the window

The Improvements:
Removed 90% of the objects on the
counters. This included all small
appliances. What was left served a
design purpose. The green canisters,
the plant, and green coffee pot accent
the space

 Removed the butcher’s block from the
middle of the room to emphasize the
size of the room and allow for better
traffic
Removed the art from the window to
brighten up the counter space and
show the large window
