1. The Social Security System accomplished many of its corporate plans for 2012, including implementing a loan penalty condonation program, opening new foreign offices, pursuing bilateral agreements, and launching new programs to encourage contributions.
2. Several key systems were improved, such as registration and coverage, cash collection, accounts management, and the implementation of a new DDR workflow to expedite benefits processing.
3. Some plans like establishing a 24/7 call center and implementing a voluntary provident fund were still in progress by the end of 2012.
The Social Security System approved a corporate operating budget of PHP 121.9 billion for 2012, with revenues coming from members' contributions of PHP 95.5 billion and investments/other income of PHP 26.4 billion. Planned expenses included benefit payments of PHP 87.5 billion and operating expenses of PHP 8.1 billion. After expenses, the SSS expected a net revenue of PHP 26.3 billion for 2012. The budget also included PHP 961 million for capital expenditures like infrastructure, computer systems, and furniture/equipment.
Revoking Executive Order No. 523 (s.2006) and conferring upon the office for alternative dispute resolution the management, development, coordination, and oversight of alternative dispute resolution programs in the executive department for other purposes.
