The Society for Science & the Public launched the Science News in High Schools program in September 2015 to provide over 200,000 students at more than 270 schools free access to Science News content. Several foundations and donors sponsored schools to participate. The program produced educator guides to help teachers incorporate the materials into their curriculum. According to a teacher, having access to Science News will greatly enhance her limited science resources.
