1) The city of Harbin, China hosts an annual ice and snow sculpture festival where teams from around the world compete to build the most beautiful structures out of ice and snow.
2) The festival has grown significantly over the years since starting in 1985 and now attracts millions of tourists. Teams are given blocks of snow and ice to carve elaborate sculptures that cover kilometers of the festival area.
3) Visitors can walk through the ice sculpture park which features replicas of buildings from around the world lit up with neon lights at night, as well as activities like climbing ice walls and sliding on an ice skating rink made of ice.
