Kaufman Elementary School in Texas received ratings in 2007-2008 on a STaR chart that evaluates the use of technology tools at the campus. The school was rated as advanced in teaching and learning and leadership/administration, and as developing in educator preparation, with an advanced rating for infrastructure. The 2008-2009 chart showed continued progress, with all areas rated at least advanced.

Also surprisingly good were water front lots and farm & ranch sales. Almost every category I track was up double digit percentages.

- 4. 老大就讀高中時， 有回我對著鏡子梳頭髮， 發現白頭髮又多了幾根， 直覺反應： 「唉，白頭髮和皺紋愈來愈多， 真是歲月不饒人啊！」 他安慰我： 媽，皮膚起皺紋沒關係， 靈魂不要起皺紋就好了。 他不疾不徐回答： 靈魂起皺紋，就是失去 對生命、對生活的熱情啊！ 我沒聽懂，追問：「什麼意思？」
