The three little pigs each built a house of increasing strength - straw, sticks, and bricks. When the wolf came, he huffed and puffed and blew down the houses of straw and sticks, eating their inhabitants. However, his huffing and puffing could not blow down the house of bricks. In his anger, the wolf tried to enter down the chimney but fell into a pot of boiling water instead, meeting his end. The third little pig and his house of bricks proved too clever for the wolf.
Little Red Riding Hood takes cupcakes to her grandmother's house but meets a wolf along the way who tricks her by eating the grandmother and pretending to be her. When Little Red Riding Hood arrives the wolf reveals himself but is then killed by a woodcutter who rescues the grandmother from the wolf's stomach.
Three little pigs build houses of different materials - straw, sticks, and bricks. The lazy pigs build weaker houses of straw and sticks while the hardworking pig builds a strong brick house. A big bad wolf blows down the straw and stick houses, while failing to defeat the brick house even when going down the chimney. The wolf is scared away by the brick house, leaving the three little pigs safe at last.
The document provides a history of classical music from 1600 to 2000. It describes several periods including the Baroque period from 1600-1750 which saw the development of instrumental music. The Classical period from 1750-1820 saw changes including the decline of patronage systems. The Romantic period from 1820-1920 featured expanded musical forms and nationalism. Modern music from 1920-2000 included Impressionism, Neo-Classicism, atonal music, and many new styles and types of music as composers explored their imaginations.
The Classical period in music spans from 1750 to 1827, dominated by Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. It coincides with Neo-Classicism in other arts and the Enlightenment era of promoting equality through education. Music of this period features clear, elegant melodies in symmetrical phrases accompanied by gradual dynamics and regular rhythm. The piano replaces the harpsichord as a prominent instrument while the orchestra and vocal genres like opera and oratorio continue developing. Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven make significant contributions through their symphonies, sonatas, string quartets and other instrumental and vocal works.
An introduction of events leading the French Revolution of 1789, beginning with a discussion of the Old Regime and ending with the Women's March on Versailles
