What do we accomplish in our  18’  X  14’ room?
A typical morning of shelter S/N
On separate days the same room is used for public low-income S/N Shelter front desk books surgeries, 40 per day Shelter promotes/advertises s/n clinic Shelter front desk makes reminder calls to booked patients Morning of surgery, one person checks in patients, has client sign simple release form and collects payment. Cash only to eliminate paperwork. Doctor releases pets at end of day.
 
The solution is multifaceted According to the ED of our shelter: Kitten intakes are way down… more so than in the rest of the state The ED attributes this to All animals are s/n before adoption Help Fix ME our state-wide state-funded s/n program Our in house public spay/neuter program
The little operating room has found a even a  third life! Feral cat spay/neuter
