This is the presentation for the adult Sunday school class at Bible Baptist Church of Puyallup Washington for May 17, 2015. Many preachers believe that the highlight of the Philadelphian age was in the 1950-60’s with the revival ending in the early to mid 70’s. That means we are in the Laodicean era right now. I agree. I think Song of Solomon 8:1-7 describes high point of the church age – Philadelphia. Therefore Song of Solomon 8:8-9 describes the Laodicean age. *It could be those daughters of Jerusalem who
have figured in to this conversation or two or
three chapters now or
*It could be the Shulamite’s brothers who had
forced her to work the vineyards earlier in the
account

4. *What we see here is a “Philadelphia heart” in
the midst of a Laodicean age.
*Jesus’ letter offers her hope.
*Because there is hope, even in the middle of the
Laodicean age, we have work to do!
