Some useful areas which we
generally miss out on..
Presented By:
Jyotsana Sastry
1) No question is stupid, every question is asked to judge your personality and thought process.
2) Such questions like “What animal you would be?” are asked to make sure that Interviewers are
hiring the right person who can be an asset to their organization.
3) Its not about over preparing for the Interview, its about how smart and sharp you are to handle
such questions.
4) For answering such questions, a small pre-interview exercise will help in a great manner which
will include the following basic things :
Knowing about the qualities or functions you can attribute to it that would be great for the job
you have applied for.
Keeping the answers simple and brief.
For e.g. for question stated in point 2 can be answered by naming the animal, and giving one or
two qualities that you see in the animal that also describe you.
Be a Champion in answering questions by :
Doing Pre Interview Exercise
Focusing on your thoughts
Be simple and brief
Relate your answers to the qualities
required to do that particular Job.

Good Resume
Employers do not have time to review each Resume.
Average Time looking at a Resume is 8 seconds.
Since limited time is there to review each resume, it
means one have to hit the nail on the head and engage the
reader from the start if want to get noticed.
Remember, resume is a promotional piece – don’t be afraid
to put own horn with highlights of accomplishments and
success that will impress potential employers.

 Work life balance means different things to different people.
 Men and Women view work-life balance differently.
 So, what does one do if they are feeling that time is slipping away and their
lives are grossly out of balance? The first order of business is to recognize
the problem and make a decision to do something about it. Only you have
the power to make a decision about how you want to live your life. You can
let life dictate how you spend it, or you can decide that you are going to
take charge of your life.

If you are or will soon be a job hunter, you have to remember that job interviews are
not all the same.
A group interview is just basically like the traditional job interview with a question
and answer portion, and some examinations. However, what adds more tension in the
air is the fact that you have to go toe-to-toe with other job seekers, and force yourself
to stand out without disrespecting and interrupting your interviewer and co-
interviewees. You have to be both smooth and confident here.
Group job interviews can be terrifying. However, it’s not as bad as it may seem. It can
even give you the edge that you need more than a traditional job interview can.
There are three types of people in this world: those who make things happen, those who
watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.” – Mary Kay Ash, American
businesswoman
Initiative is doing the right thing without being told.” - Victor Hugo, French writer
“Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make
mistakes, but they don’t quit.” - Conrad Hilton, Hilton Hotels
“The right man is the one who seizes the moment.” — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do
than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain
