This document is a certification for a study on socio-economic environment and food security in the student residential area of Bonamoussadi, Cameroon. It includes a dedication to the author's late father and acknowledgements of those who assisted with the study. The study examines how agricultural policies, socio-economic status, gender, age, culture, environment, social networks, and lifestyle impact food security. It establishes that social interaction impacts food choices for 46% of respondents. The study recommends strategies for sustainable development involve broader policies than just agriculture given Bonamoussadi's ecological setting.
