Dependant upon employer and level of work
Salaries can range from $26.50-$50.12 an hour

You need grade 12 or equivalent to enter into
post secondary education

You need post secondary education to become
a social worker. You need a bachelor of social
work before continuing on into more specific
areas which takes up to 4 years. but before that
you need at least 54 univ. credits

Why it is a good choice for me
I feel like I would enjoy the line of work that
these ppl do. I also have always had an interest
in it and it is something that I want to do. I want
to help people and I feel like this is a good way
to do that.

Deal specifically with the psychological,
behaviour, social, and emotional needs of
children.
Work Conditions
Can work in a variety of settings including
schools, private practices and hospital.

Have to be patient and good with kids.

The approximate salary is $64,000 a year

Why I would do this job
I love psych. It is a very interesting subject to
me and I would like to know more and actually
put it to use.
