Snapchat is an application released in 2011 that allows users to upload 10-second videos or timed pictures to their "Stories" which then disappear after about 24 hours. Instagram was launched in 2010 and is used to post pictures and videos that the user finds valuable and wants to remember. Facebook was launched in 2004 and became hugely popular in social media, though the author now uses Snapchat more than Facebook which they used to be more active on.

in 2011. I use this app the most, I find it very
enjoyable. I can upload a 10 sec video, or
timed picture. The stories disappear within a
certain amount of time about 24 hours.

2. Instagram
Instagram was launched in 2010, I use it to
post pictures and videos that I find valuable,
and I want to remember.

3. Facebook
Facebook was launched in 2004, it became a
big hit in the social media world. I used to be
active on it, but not as much anymore, as I
use snapchat more.
