2. ● They are found year-round in the Arctic regions of
North America and Eurasia, they can also be spotted
on the tree line of northern Canada.
● Some of the food they eat are: lemmings, Arctic fox,
Arctic hares, mice, ducks and seabirds.
● During the nesting season, eggs and chicks may be
subject to predation by swift-flying, predatory relatives
of gulls or by arctic foxes. But the adults are well
equipped to defend against these threats.
