Staff member's house is flooded and they will not be able to teach their scheduled classes. They will post notices around campus to notify students of the cancellation. This would take most of the morning. Now, a staff member can simply send an SMS alert to all students to quickly notify them of any changes or cancellations to the schedule. In the past, there were delays in communicating schedule changes which resulted in poor student satisfaction scores. Now with SMS alerts, students can be promptly notified of any issues, improving communication and student satisfaction.
