On 6 December 2015 we’re making further enhancements to OLP Connect and our application
process. These changes are:
• Introduction of mandatory doctor details and medical consent
• Post completion sampling

• Encourages your clients to fully disclose all relevant information in their application
• Speeds up the process for getting medical evidence where required
• Quicker underwriting decisions, helping you to manage your clients’ expectations.

Every applicant must now provide us with:
• their doctor details
• their electronic medical consent
You will not be able to submit an application without providing these.

• The order and navigation of our OLP Connect screens will not change.
• The only change will be on the Doctors Details screen – removal of the wording:
‘Please indicate if your client is unable to provide the address of their doctor today’.

• We may request a medical report from your client’s doctor shortly after policy completion.
• Enables us to check whether your client has missed any relevant information on the
application form.
• New or conflicting information could mean your client may be offered revised terms, or
even have their cover withdrawn.

It’s important to note that any policy changes will only affect those clients
who do not provide us with the accurate information requested at point of
application.
