SMARTPHONES Smartphone is a portable device  and is a mobile phone that offers more advanced computing ability and connectivity. Smart phones allows the user to install and run more advanced applications.

The use of smart phones In the work place Smart phones makes communication less difficult. Employers can send mass messages or new company policy  to employees with mass emails. Through internet connection, can communicate using emails, faxing important information to a company partner. A company can reach potential customers by having a website and advertise online.
The use of smart phones Education Smart phones help students to progress in their studies. They have access to internet,  students can get information and complete assignments, projects and write notes during lecture times. In the north CAROLINA school students are issued smart phones to solve algebra problems in classroom and at home. There are class blog, moodle were students can do homework's using their smart phones. Lectures can also use videos and photos from online sources to share with the students using smart phones.

Smart phone market share statistics Smart phone sales nearly doubled (89 percent) from the same quarter last year, 101.2 million phones sold in 2010. The US is the biggest single country for smart phones sales. Fastest smart phone growth is in Europe, middle east and Africa. Sales up 90 percent from the same quarter last year. Nokia is still the number one seller of smart phones hardware(28 percent of world wide sales).
Conclusion Smart phones are part of our everyday life, it seems  whatever we do revolves them. They are helpful we do work or any social things faster and we don’t have to go around carrying computers they are portable can carry them where ever you go. Smart phones brings productivity in the work place, better  communication, social engagement and they also assist in education.
