Rostomaant Marani is a small family-run wine cellar in Kakheti, Georgia that produces traditional qvevri wines following methods used in Georgia for 8,000 years. The winery produces 1,000-2,000 bottles per year of qvevri wines made from grapes grown in nearby villages as well as purchased from partner vineyards. The wines and chacha are produced using traditional techniques including fermentation with wild yeasts and aging in qvevri clay vessels. Rostomaant Marani aims to preserve Georgian winemaking heritage and culture.

2. Rostomaant Marani
Rostomaant Marani is small family wine cellar in
Kakheti producing traditional Qvevri wines 1000-2000
bottle in a year. Marani is located in center part of
Telavi, near park Nadikvari.
Rostomaant Marani producing Qvevri wines and
Chacha based on Georgian traditional methods.
Qvevri wines was announced as Georgia cultural
Non-Property heritage by UNESCO in 2013. Making
wines with Qvevri.
Our vineyards are located in Kurdgelauri and
Napareuli villages in Kakheti, which are assigned
to Appellation Origin of Control (AOC) Napareuli and
Tsinandali. We also buy additional grapes from our
partner vineyard owners from from Kurdgelauri,
Ruispiri, Akhateli, Akhemta, Argokhi.
Our wines and
Chacha are made

traditional method.

Qvevri. Wine are

traditionally.
History
Our family had wineries and Marani in Akhmeta
“Jaluri” from where our Saperavi wine was very
famous in Georgia. Wine merchants where coming
from Tbilisi and buy all vintage wines.
Communist take from us our property and wineries in
1921, Nikoloz Rostomashvili was last owner of the
Rostomaant Marani and vineyards.
