The author plans to visit Slovakia in June, flying into Bratislava Airport and staying at the newly built four-star Hotel Danubia Gate for €387. Some of the top tourist sights in Slovakia include the opera house, war memorial, Bratislava Castle, and St. Martin's Cathedral. Traditional Slovak foods include bryndzove halusky, parenica, ostiepok and korbacik. The Slovak language was established in 885 and was an official language of Czechoslovakia from 1912-1992.
