The Humboldt penguin lives along the coasts of Chile and Peru, burrowing in caves and cliffs containing guano for shelter. It eats small fish like anchovies and squid, as well as krill, and regurgitates food for its chicks. The penguin has one chest stripe, two neck bands, brownish-black head and back, white markings around its eyes, and a white front, resembling the Magellanic penguin.
